ADELE BROKE A NEW RECORD 9

Adele’s album 21 has broken a new record by becoming the first album to be downloaded three million times.

The Rolling In The Deep singer released her second album 21 in 2011 but it is still selling so well that it has become the first to reach the milestone, according to the Daily Mirror.

But the figure doesn’t take into consideration physical copies bought, which takes the album’s total sales up to 10,798,000.

A further 40,000 sales were made from its vinyl release and Nielsen SoundScan has placed it at number 13 on the list of best-selling albums since 1991.

Oscar-winner Adele is said to be working on her third album at the moment. Her first, titled 19, was released in 2008.

BROKEN MOVIE DVD DROPS DECEMBER 9

With a couple of award wins to its credit, multiple nominations at the Nollywood Movies Awards 2013 and an official selection at the 4th Eko International Film Festival, EKOIFF 2013, the much anticipated DVD release of Bright Wonder’s flick, which is barely few days away is signed and sealed awaiting
delivery.
Scheduled to hit the DVD market on Monday, December 9, 2013, all plans has been concluded with Paulo International Concepts for its marketing and distribution, nationwide.

Broken movie which starred Nse Ikpe Etim, Kalu Ikeagwu, Bimbo Manuel, Iyke adiele, Tehilla Adiele and a host of others had a spectacular première at the Silverbird Cinemas Abuja in March 28, 2013. A social movie it is which tends to underscore the adverse effects of child abuse and poor parental upbringing. The movie is centred on the lives of two adults, past lovers and once married but along the line their lives was thrown into chaos as the mistakes of their past including the aftermath of children they failed to bring up properly in their selfish union, hunted their present as asylum, death-roll and street living marred their once sane lives.

OPERATION LIBERTAD from Les Films d’Ici on Vimeo.

“The film is based on a fundamental concept that was fuming within small sub societies in Switzerland some 30 years ago. I experienced the film as so real that it leaves you with the question; it might still be a totally true story… Brilliant camera work and visual design was done, to give the viewer the idea that most of the film that existed of a flashback was shot indeed at the end of the Seventies. The characters in the film were each of them very typical in their own rights, which gave the group together the image of a spicy revolutionary group that started out pretty innocent, but got too destructive in the end.”

~ Vivian Van Dijk, Editor-in-Chief of EYES IN.

SYNOPSIS

In 1978, the members of a small revolutionary group break into a Swiss bank near Zurich. They film the entirety of the action so as to prove the collusion between the Helvetic financial system and dictators. Thirty years later, the tapes of the Operation Libertad resurface…

THE SUFFERING GRASSES: when elephants fight, it is the grass that suffers (Documentary Feature) – Korea/Brazil

SYNOPSIS
Over a year later, with thousands dead and counting, the ongoing conflict in Syria has become a microcosm for the complicated politics of the region, and an unsavory reflection of the world at large. Against the backdrop of the Arab Spring and the complicated politics of the region, this film seeks to explore the Syrian conflict through the humanity of the civilians who have been killed, abused, and displaced to the squalor of refugee camps. In all such conflicts, large and small, it is civilians—women and children, families and whole communities—who suffer at the leisure of those in power. When elephants go to war, it is the grass that suffers.

Directed by Iara lee

Iara Lee, a Brazilian of Korean descent, is an activist, filmmaker, and founder of the Cultures of Resistance Network, an organization that promotes global solidarity and supports peace with justice projects. Iara is currently working on a variety of initiatives, grouped under the umbrella of CulturesOfResistance.org, an activist network that brings together artists and change-makers from around the world. At the center of these initiatives is a feature-length documentary film entitled CULTURES OF RESISTANCE, released in 2011, which explores how creative action contributes to conflict prevention and resolution.

Iara’s most recent project is a short film entitled THE SUFFERING GRASSES, which explores the Syrian conflict through the humanity of the civilians who have been killed, abused, and displaced to the squalor of refugee camps. The film premiered in Kuwait in June 2012.

Tracy Obonna is the Sexiest Black Woman Alive ®

Tracy Obonna is the Sexiest Black Woman Alive

Supple magazine is proud to name Tracy Obonna as the Sexiest Black Woman Alive after a comprehensive survey of all the celebrated past and present living beautiful and voluptuous black women on earth, including winners of the global beauty pageants and supermodels in the annual Sports Illustrated Calendars.

Tracy 1

The celebrated selection of Esquire’s Sexiest Woman Alive has been based on the skewed statistics of narrow-minded American tabloid journalists and deliberately skewed towards the American world view.
Tracy Obonna is hotter, prettier and sexier than Rihanna, Esquire’s Sexiest Woman Alive and will humble Tulisa Contostavlos of FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women In The World 2012:. The American born Nigerian sex symbol is the epitome of beauty with brains whose amazing voluptuous body makes Rihanna and every other Esquire’s Sexiest Woman Alive look ordinary from head to toe, because Tracy Obonna, aka the Nigerian Bombshell is actually sexier than them all. And it is also necessary to correct the erroneous notion of the narrow-minded selection of Esquire over the years, because it is generally wrong to name any woman sexiest woman alive without any consideration for the most eligible women outside America, which is what American tabloids have been doing in discrimination and disregard of other exotic beautiful and voluptuous women who are not recognized by the narrow-minded American news media. The American news media wants to dictate trends to the rest of us, but this is unacceptable, because the rest of the world is different from America and not inferior to America. What is hot or not in America is different from what is hot or not in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Australia and Europe.

Tracy 7A

Tracy 4
Tracy 8a

In fact we know from the records of all the winners of the Miss World, Miss Universe and other global beauty pageants that there are prettier and sexier women in other countries than America. Therefore, the Esquire cannot make an American selection of sexy women and name them sexiest women alive without the consideration and inclusion of sexy women outside their purview. There is more to the beauty and sexuality of femininity than what is seen through the rosé tinted spectacles of Hollywood. The beauty of any woman being the sexiest woman alive is more than meets the eye of the Esquire of America and their Hollywood. We have made our own inquiries online and offline and have stumbled upon our own epitome of the sexiest woman alive who is black, bold and beautiful enough to be named the Sexiest Black Woman Alive in the world Tracy Obonna and you are welcome to compare her to every woman Esquire has named Sexiest Woman Alive and see if she is not sexier than them all. Enjoy!
